The Aquarium of the Pacific will host a screening of Sea of Shadows, a documentary from National Geographic Documentary Films and winner of the Sundance audience award, followed by a panel discussion featuring ocean conservation experts and one of the filmmakers.

The public is invited to enjoy the Aquarium of the Pacific after hours while taking advantage of special savings.

In celebration of the holiday season, Santa Diver will deliver treats to the Aquarium of the Pacific’s penguins, sea otters, birds, fish, and other animals during Holiday Treats for the Animals weekend on Saturday and Sunday, December 7-8, 2019.

This winter parents can enroll their children in winter day camps specially tailored to different age ranges from five to fifteen.

Aquarium Holidays features a snow play area, photo opportunities with Santa in his traditional attire, and Hanukkah storytelling with opportunities to play dreidel on weekends.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in collaboration with the Aquarium of the Pacific, the UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory, the Bay Foundation, Paua Marine Research Group, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and various other partners have been working together to help save the white abalone from extinction.

The Aquarium of the Pacific will display an exhibit of paintings by artist Danielle Eubank from November 5, 2019, to January 5, 2020.

On Saturday, November 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Aquarium of the Pacific will host the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) interactive event; NOAA Day.

Members of the Aquarium of the Pacific’s veterinary and animal husbandry staff will release a rehabilitated female green sea turtle weighing 160 pounds near the mouth of the San Gabriel River in Seal Beach, California, on October 8, 2019.

The festival will feature live music and dance performances, cultural arts exhibits, and crafts. Throughout the weekend artisans and other vendors will be displaying and selling their works.
