The International Children’s Festival features dance and music performed by children, interactive programs for all ages and educational programs.

Guests can enjoy special dive-related presentations and demonstrations, and FREE Aquarium admission will be granted to certified divers on March 14, 2020.

Noche de Estrellas will feature dance, crafts, and bilingual educational programs, including a scavenger hunt with prizes, and environmental activities—offered in both English and Spanish.

Guests can experience the sights and sounds of performances by local African-American groups, including Mardi Gras second line dancers, hip hop and break dancers, jazz musicians, interactive drum circle musicians, and West African dancers.

This work included aiding in research to study the effects of warming seas on the coral populations, as well as techniques for scalable restoration methods.

The acts will include Emcee Big Llou Johnson, Bernie Pearl feat. Sonny Green and THEE Blues Man, Al Williams Jazz Society feat. Barbara Morrison, Alvin Hayes Jr., and New Blues Revolution.

In this lecture Aquarium of the Pacific Director of Education David Bader will discuss lessons learned from the story of the vaquita and what it can tell us broadly about what it will take to achieve conservation success and help us save other endangered porpoises around the world.

At the Festival of Human Abilities, visitors can watch performances and learn unique adaptive skills taught by artists and other experts with disabilities.

At the Aquarium’s forum, experts will gather to discuss sustainable options for decommissioned oil rigs in Southern California.
