Aquarium to Host Film Screening of Sea of Shadows and Panel Discussion on Vaquita Conservation
The Aquarium of the Pacific will host a screening of Sea of Shadows, a documentary from National Geographic Documentary Films and winner of the Sundance audience award, followed by a panel discussion featuring ocean conservation experts and one of the filmmakers.

Endangered Species to Get a Helping Hand as White Abalones Will Be Released to the Wild After Years of Research by Aquarium and Partners
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in collaboration with the Aquarium of the Pacific, the UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory, the Bay Foundation, Paua Marine Research Group, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and various other partners have been working together to help save the white abalone from extinction.

Aquarium Veterinary Team to Release Endangered Sea Turtle After its Rescue and Recovery from Surgery
Members of the Aquarium of the Pacific’s veterinary and animal husbandry staff will release a rehabilitated female green sea turtle weighing 160 pounds near the mouth of the San Gabriel River in Seal Beach, California, on October 8, 2019.
