While the Aquarium of the Pacific is closed to the public in compliance with health orders for zoos and aquariums in our region, the institution is offering live virtual tours of its indoor galleries.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is launching a new virtual experience that will take you behind the scenes to meet its animals and animal care staff during a feeding and care session.

Have a Zoom meeting with a sea lion or embark on a virtual tour to meet animals and the staff caring for them while supporting the nonprofit as it cares for 12,000 animals

The family’s donation of $75,000 was made to honor the late Dr. C. David Molina and help the nonprofit Aquarium of the Pacific during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In accordance with health orders for the region, the Aquarium of the Pacific will be closed to the public for at least three weeks starting Sunday, December 6, 2020.

In a rapidly changing world, with people facing the pressures of climate change and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, our connection with nature is more important than ever. On December 15 at 7:00 p.m. Aquarium of the Pacific President and CEO Dr. Peter Kareiva will present a virtual lecture examining this topic.

During Aquarium Holidays visitors can enjoy holiday décor as they visit the Aquarium’s outdoor areas with advance reservations.

In celebration of the holiday season, Santa Diver will dive with sharks and other fish, and penguins, sea otters, birds, fish, and other animals will enjoy flavorful holiday delights at the Aquarium of the Pacific during the Holiday Treats for the Animals virtual event on Saturday, December 5.

For those in search of outdoor activities with COVID-19 safety measures, the Aquarium of the Pacific is offering up-close experiences with its animals.

On Friday, November 20, 2020, the Aquarium’s education department will host Family Art Night, an event that builds on its popular Draw With Me class.
