The Aquarium of the Pacific will display an exhibit of paintings by artist Danielle Eubank from November 5, 2019, to January 5, 2020.

On Saturday, November 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Aquarium of the Pacific will host the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) interactive event; NOAA Day.

Members of the Aquarium of the Pacific’s veterinary and animal husbandry staff will release a rehabilitated female green sea turtle weighing 160 pounds near the mouth of the San Gabriel River in Seal Beach, California, on October 8, 2019.

The festival will feature live music and dance performances, cultural arts exhibits, and crafts. Throughout the weekend artisans and other vendors will be displaying and selling their works.

Animals that will be visiting the Aquarium with Conservation Ambassadors include an alligator, porcupine, lemur, giant bull frog, kinkajou, Harris hawk, kangaroo, raven, and beaver.

Kelley will join Aquarium President and CEO Dr. Jerry Schubel to discuss the role of responsible aquaculture in conservation. They will be joined by Dr. Halley Froehlich, assistant professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Kimberly Thompson, director of the Aquarium’s Seafood for the Future program.

The Aquarium of the Pacific in partnership with Halbert Hargrove is announcing its fall 2019 Aquatic Academy course, Longevity: Changing the Narrative.

The Aquarium of the Pacific will host a free community event on October 7, 2019, bringing scientists and researchers together to discuss coping with sea level rise with a focus on Long Beach’s Peninsula, Naples, and Belmont Shore.

The Aquarium of the Pacific invites all foodies and friends of the fish to its annual Sea Fare event on Saturday, October 19.

Dr. Schubel joined the Aquarium of the Pacific in 2002. He will remain in his current role while the Aquarium’s Board of Directors conducts a search for his replacement.
