Chloe the Sea Otter Celebrates Birthday at the Aquarium

Chloe_RobinRiggs.jpg

November 12, 2017

She has a luxurious coat, eats restaurant-quality seafood, has many adoring fans, and is inviting everyone to her fifth birthday bash on Sunday, November 12, at 10:45 a.m. However, life for Chloe the southern sea otter was not always this way. She was orphaned, stranded, rescued, and deemed non-releasable to the wild before arriving at the Aquarium in 2013. The Aquarium invites the public and members of the media to join Chloe as she celebrates her birthday with the Aquarium of the Pacific’s staff and her otter friends, Brook, Charlie, Betty, Ollie, and Maggie. Brook and Charlie are the two oldest sea otters at any aquarium or zoo, and Betty, close to Chloe’s age, was named after Betty White. Guests are invited to wear birthday hats and join us in singing Happy Birthday to Chloe as she enjoys her favorite foods, treats, and gifts.

When: Sunday, November 12, 2017, 10:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m., Chloe’s Birthday Celebration. Chloe’s birthday begins promptly at 10:45 a.m. Interviews are available before and after.

Public Info: Included with general admission: $29.95 adults 12+, $26.95 seniors 62+, $17.95 children 3-11, and free for children under three and Aquarium members
