Adopt a Penguin Chick for a Chance to Suggest a Name

The Aquarium of the Pacific’s Adopt an Animal program allows anyone to symbolically adopt one of the Aquarium’s animals. There are six levels of adoption with various benefits. All adoptions have base benefits that include an adoption certificate, animal updates, event invitations, and are fully tax-deductible. With the arrival of new penguin chicks at the Aquarium, those who adopt a chick at the $100 level or above have a chance to suggest a name for one of the chicks.

The $100 adoption level includes all the base benefits along with a plush animal and an Aquarium tote bag. Animal adoptions can also be gifted to others. Adopting an animal allows the Aquarium to continue providing the best possible animal care and medical treatment available to our penguins and our other animals. Adopt an Animal proceeds also fund the Aquarium’s conservation initiatives and programs, and important animal breeding efforts to ensure a better world for our animals.
