Members of Congress Visit Pacific Visions Wing
The representatives visited the Aquarium and toured the Pacific Visions wing as part of the American Congressional Exchange.

On November 2, the Aquarium hosted U.S. Congressional Representatives Alan Lowenthal of California and Garret Graves of Louisiana for a meeting and tour of the new Pacific Visions wing. The visit was part of the American Congressional Exchange initiated by the Bipartisan Policy Center.
As a respected gathering place for the exchange of ideas and a resource on the current state of the science on the health of our planet the Aquarium was chosen by the Congressmen as the location for this dialogue. The Congressmen discussed differences and areas of common interest on many topics present in Pacific Visions including aquaculture, diversifying our energy portfolio, adapting to a changing climate, and opportunities to share information.
