Due to new Safer-at-Home orders, the Aquarium has fully closed to the public for at least three weeks starting Sunday, December 6, 2020. We were all hoping for a better holiday season. For some relief during this challenging time, we invite you to enjoy our Virtual Offerings. Also, please help us with whatever donation you can afford. We are committed to giving the best possible care to our animals no matter what—for that we need your help more than ever before.
Enjoy virtual live and on-demand educational programming. Tune in weekdays at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. for live classes for kids with our educators. Learn about fascinating topics in our Guest Speaker Series. Participate in online events such as festivals and tours. Visit virtually by viewing our live animal webcams. Take a virtual Aquarium tour with 360-degree views. Check out our YouTube channel for episodes of The Pacific Pals Show, the Guest Speaker Series, and many other on-demand videos. Visit the Online Academy page to see the full schedule of live classes and all of the Aquarium’s other online programs.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a severe impact on the Aquarium’s finances throughout 2020. Due to temporary closures and reduced visitor capacity, the Aquarium has missed out on essential funds from ticket sales and other revenue related to visitation. We need your support to thrive and recover from these impacts and ensure continued care for our animals. Aquarium memberships, holiday gift purchases, and charitable donations are needed now more than ever. Thank you for your continued support.
