Author and marine biologist Dr. Maddalena Bearzi shares stories from her new book Dolphin Confidential: Confessions of a Field Biologist. Dr. Bearzi takes viewers inside the world of a marine mammal field scientist. She offers a firsthand understanding of cetacean behavior, as well as the frustrations, delights, and creativity involved in dolphin research. In her book, Dr. Bearzi presents a look into her studies on the metropolitan bottlenose dolphins of California, as well as dolphin social behavior and intelligence. She spoke at the Aquarium on September 12, 2012.
