Presented by the Aquarium's Husbandry Department

Posted: October 8, 2020

Lecture date: September 16, 2020. In the first of a two-part series, Curator of Fish and Invertebrates Nate Jaros will lead a presentation on the Aquarium’s largest exhibit, the Tropical Reef Habitat, along with staff members who maintain the exhibit, Assistant Curator Janet Monday and Aquarist II Lauren Samarov.

This 350,000-gallon habitat is modeled after the popular dive site called Blue Corner in Palau. Jaros, Monday, and Samarov discuss the exhibit theme, the quantity and types of animals, and what goes in to providing them with world-class care.
