Lecture date: May 2, 2017. Robert Pomeroy discusses the ongoing research and outreach in algae biofuels and introduces our pivot to biopolymers.

Pomeroy is a professor of chemistry and biochemistry at the University of California, San Diego, where he also mentors undergraduate students in algal crop protection. His lecture focuses on polyurethanes and his group’s proof of concept technology: an algae surfboard.
