Lecture date: September 7, 2017. Dr. Michael Prather has been active in the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) assessments since 1992 and was among those IPCC authors receiving the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. He will share a behind-the-scenes account of this unique interaction between governments and the world’s leading scientists.

Dr. Prather is a University of California, Irvine, Distinguished Professor of Earth system science.
