Lecture date: June 21, 2016. Kim Steinhardt discussed the intersection of law and politics with science and ocean stewardship as it relates to sea otter conservation.

Steinhardt is a former California State Administrative Law judge who also teaches law classes on legislative advocacy, emphasizing ocean protection. He is on the board of directors of the Long Marine Lab’s Seymour Discovery Center at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
