Lecture date: February 5, 2014. Dr. Paul Barber is a professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he teaches marine science.

The Coral Triangle is a region of the western Pacific that is the “Amazon of the Ocean,” but is largely unknown and highly threatened. Dr. Barber discussed this exotic region and its significance He has been working with the Aquarium to develop a new exhibit focused on this region.
