Lecture date: March 15, 2017. Andrew Pershing discusses his research, which focuses on the causes and consequences of changing conditions in the Gulf of Maine.

An expert on how climate variability and climate change impact the ecosystems in the northwest Atlantic, Pershing is actively involved in regional efforts to understand and adapt to climate change. He is chief scientific officer at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute and runs the Ecosystem Modeling Lab.
