Lecture date: July 21, 2015. Alan Blumberg discussed hydrodynamics, urban design, and modeling to improve coastal resilience.

Blumberg is the George Meade Bond Professor of Ocean Engineering and director of the Davidson Laboratory at Stevens Institute of Technology. He is presently leading several major studies with government officials to predict and assess storm flooding events in New York and New Jersey.
