The High Tide Festival, presented by Dr. Allen and Charlotte Ginsburg, encourages Southern California high school students to explore the ocean through creative visual storytelling. Individuals or small teams of up to four participants were challenged to create short films (videos) up to three minutes long on one of three topics:

• Ocean Heroes and Superheroes
• Port and Coastal Cities
• My Favorite Ocean Species

Watch the premiere of these short films during the live stream broadcast of the Aquarium’s High Tide Film Festival screening and award ceremony below. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners in each of the categories and the Aquarium will celebrate the student filmmakers at the event.
