Experience the acoustic capabilities of the Great Hall like never before when the University and Chamber Choirs from CSULB's Bob Cole Conservatory of Music present "Sea Change: Choral Music about Water" at the Aquarium of the Pacific.
Experience the acoustic capabilities of the Great Hall like never before when the University and Chamber Choirs from CSULB’s Bob Cole Conservatory of Music present “Sea Change: Choral Music about Water” at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Featuring 100 singers and various instrumentalists, the Choirs will perform a program of water-themed music with the Aquarium’s Honda Blue Cavern exhibit as the backdrop. Featured works include You Carry Oceans Within-Paul John Rudoi, Water Night-Eric Whitacre, Hymne au Soleil-Lily Boulanger, and a newly commissioned work “The Ocean Between Us” by Matthew Lyon Hazzard.
Grab ‘n Go food and beverages will be available for purchase before and after the concert.
The choirs are led by Dr. Jonathan Talberg and Dr. Joshua Palkki.
