Landscape architect and arborist Shawn Maestretti and Leigh Adams, horticultural interpreter at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Gardens, will discuss techniques for zero-waste, carbon-neutral garden designs, including nurturing soil, capturing rainwater, sequestering carbon, and planting climate-appropriate plants for biodiversity. Maestretti is the principal of Shawn Maestretti Garden Architecture.
