Bird and Mammal Rescue

Working with local organizations, the Aquarium of the Pacific responds to crises affecting birds and mammals

Aquarium of the Pacific staff members regularly to participate in field work or support disaster responses affecting birds and mammals. Some of the organizations and institutions that the Aquarium has supported is Oiled Wildlife Care Network (OWCN), the Marine Mammal Care Center in San Pedro, International Bird Rescue (IBR), and the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center in Bolsa Chica. Some of the species have included the least terns, pelicans, and sea lions.
